Last Wednesday students from the help desk and some kids on internships went to Fenway Park for STEM day there. The event started early in the morning, so we weren’t able to see a lot of the actual STEM events. When we got there, there was a huge line that stretched around the street with a lot of schools bringing their students to the event as well. The events to me were definitely tailored towards younger children and probably were not really meant for high schoolers. After the all the STEM events wrapped up there was a baseball game at 1:05 pm there for all the students and everyone else. So we had wait for around 2 and a half hours before the game started. We had to leave the game at the bottom of the 8th inning in order to get back to the school by around 4:30. The Boston Red Sox were easily able to win the game 8-3.
