This past week we learned how to fly mambo drones. We used our iPads to fly the drones around. We flew the drones around in the upper library and the help desk room. We used the app FreeFlight Mini to control the drone. The app allows you to do basic moves like to go forward, backward, right, left, up, and down. FreeFlight Mini also allows you to set the max height and speed for the drone so any level of experience person can fly the drone. We also used the app to take pictures from the drone and we also did flips with the drone. The pictures from the drone were not really good at all. We also learned how to use code to fly the drone. To use code we used the app Tynker. Tynker is an app where you put commands into a program to have your drone fly. In the app you can control how long you want the drone to go in a certain direction. Tynker can allow the drone to do flips as well.
